We want to help you prepare for handing back the property to us and we are keen to return your deposit as quickly and as simply as possible, so here is some essential information to help you prepare in advance.

We will be in touch with you soon, to let you know how much your last rental payment will be.

We will also let you know when the property has been marketed and to arrange access for any prospective viewings.

The property was cleaned by a professional cleaning company before you moved in and should be handed back to us having being professionally cleaned – including the windows. This is detailed in your check-in inventory provided to you by e-mail at move in.

We are happy to help you with this and we recommend that you use one of our preferred cleaning contractors because they are familiar with the ‘burgh standard and are happy to visit the property in order to give you a fixed price quotation before you vacate.

If it’s simpler for you, the cost of the cleaning can be agreed with the cleaning company before you vacate but the work can be carried out after you’ve moved out and handed the keys back – that’s one less thing for you to worry about when moving house. They can even collect keys from us!

We will pay the the cleaning company on your behalf by deducting the agreed cost from your deposit, helping us return the deposit to you quickly.
