Burgh Property, Sales

We have an excellent opportunity for a property professional to join our market leading Morninsgide team. This is an exciting and varied role which presents an excellent opportunity to join Scotland’s leading independent agent and promote our award-winning Best Estate Agent Guide 2025 service.

We are seeking a property professional who is well presented, personable, very commercially aware and who will take a pro-active and flexible approach with all aspects of our business.

As a senior role, the successful candidate must have significant sales negotiator experience and a proven track record in residential sales and business development, and will be required to demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Acting as the point of contact for sales clients, the role will be primarily client experience focused as we look to deliver exceptional estate agency service and fantastic sales results.

The role will also encompass assisting the Branch Manager and will have supervisory sales duties whilst working closely with the Area Director for new listings, to ensure all sales targets are met and exceeded. This a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their estate agency career.
 

A full UK Driving Licence and prior estate agency experience is absolutely essential.

Full Time – Core hours are as follows:

36 Hours per week.

Monday 9am – 5pm

Tuesday 9am – 5pm

Wednesday – 9am – 5pm

Thursday – 9am – 5pm

Friday – 9am – 5pm

Flexibility will be required to cover office opening hours and late-night appointments, this includes participation in a weekend rota from time to time.

We are seeking a property professional who is well presented, professional, personable and a team member who is pro-active in their approach to all aspects of our business.
 
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, be highly organised and must have excellent inter personal communication skills.
 
Previous letting experience is required.
 
Core responsibilities of the role;
  • Viewings for Sales & Lettings Properties
  • Frontline reception duties
  • Administration for the Letting Team – drawing up leases, creating new tenancy documents, creating      notices, assisting with basic letting finance queries and utility and council tax management
A full UK Driving Licence is essential. A company pool car is available.
 
Full Time – Core hours are as follows:
 
35 Hours per week.
Tuesday 9.30am – 5.30pm (typically office work)
Wednesday 9.30am – 5.30pm (typically office work)
Thursday 12pm – 8pm (typically viewings)
Friday 12pm – 8pm (typically viewings)
Saturday 10am – 4pm (typically viewings)
 
Annual Salary: £24,000
 
Applicants already with the qualification; Propertymark (ARLA certified) level 6 technical award in residential letting and property management,will be in a very strong position. The Company will also support and fund the successful applicant to achieve this letting qualification should they wish to pursue this.
